Background
My name is Paul James Lewis, and I devote myself to the tarot, to music, and to the lifelong study of the occult.
After a career as a professional ballet pianist, I live with my husband in the enchanting city of Tomar, Portugal.
A Lifelong Path
I have been reading cards and delving deeply into occult studies since 1970.
Even after decades of reading tarot—both for myself and for others—I still find it endlessly fascinating, not only as an esoteric art, but as a path of inner discovery.
The Nature of Tarot
And yet, I’ve come to see the tarot as something even greater:
a tool for problem-solving, for opening the mind’s eye, for unlocking vision and creativity.
Symbol and Perspective
The tarot invites us to immerse ourselves in the richness of symbolic language, awakening associations that often slip past the grasp of everyday logic.
Tarot does not predict the future—and perhaps that is its deepest wisdom.
What it offers, instead, is perspective: a way to understand the present moment from new angles, with clarity and depth.
